the other day, I had quite the adventure with my friend Victoria. lets just say the day included burritos + llama cookies + youtube + poking fun at prep school uniforms + and of course the best movie ever--the goonies.

ouch.

today I had surgery. WOO! nothing but bloody gums + uncontrollable salivation + pain. ya... twas loads of fun today.

"Dental Care" by Owl City has been stuck in my head the whole day, and Adam Young got it right... nothing but smiles from the doctor.

mmm. frozen yogurt... guess it has a perk or two.

oh well, the most minor surgery of my life so far. anyway... tomorrow should be a better day. I have quite the adventure planned :]

so my goal this summer has been to learn the basics of sewing... let me just say that it is frustrating.... patterns? grr. thats all i have to say.

ANYwho... I found out about this amazing year-long project called The Uniform Project in which this girl has pledged to wear the same dress for 365 days, yet making it look different every day. Donations to the project go to raise money for children living in the slums of India.

amazing right? I'm hoping to gain inspiration from this to keep on with my battle with the sewing machine :]

i have a confession...

okay. for some reason... my parents decided that the whole house needed to wake up early because my dad's friend was stopping by? I don't get it. ANYWAYS. I must confess that I fell in love yesterday... with Adam Young of Owl City :] This guy is uhmazing, magical, superb, everything.

i swear. This guy can capture a summer day dream inside his songs-- magical. BUY Ocean Eyes... it just came out this past week. DO IT.

FIRST POST :]

okay... so. This here is my first official blog post. Now, I'm not really sure what I should talk about exactly, but if there is one thing that I DO know... it's that I have the BESTEST friend (who also happens to be my cousin) that I could ever have who visited this past week...

let's just say we had many adventures :D

we're dorks.

I miss her already! it sucks having your best friend live 4 hours away from you. I'll post more our adventures later :]
